Garden Update

The view from each end of my garden today, June 14, 2014. It’s looking pretty good! I’ve even had my first salad fresh from the garden just the other day… granted it lacked fresh tomatoes.  You’ll notice in spots on the South end of my garden I’ve put down some thick newspaper between rows.  It’s to hold in the moisture and keep out those blasted weeds!  So far it seems to be working great YAY LESS WEEDING!! 

Raised Garden Bed Inspiration

This photo, and others like it, have been the inspiration for my garden dreams for this summer. I have been researching companion planting and already figuring out the perfect layout for planting what will hopefully be a beautiful and bountiful vegetable/herb garden!
